MG Motor Philippines introduces the all-new MG HS Hybrid+, their latest electrified SUV designed to deliver a combination of power, efficiency, and safety.
Recently nominated for 2025 European Car of the Year, the HS Hybrid+ represents MG’s bold step toward electrification. At its heart lies MG’s advanced 1.5-liter turbocharged hybrid dedicated engine paired with a high-output electric motor.
Together, they produce a maximum output of 224 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque, delivering smooth acceleration and effortless performance across any road. The HS Hybrid+ achieves an impressive fuel efficiency of 21.55 km/L, as verified by the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP).
Its 1.83 kWh hybrid battery, coupled with MG’s intelligent 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission, allows the vehicle to seamlessly shift between all-electric, hybrid, and gasoline power, while eight intelligently managed propulsion modes continuously optimize performance and fuel efficiency. Designed for optimal performance, efficiency, and convenience, the MG Hybrid+ system requires no charging for a hassle-free, enjoyable drive.
The MG HS Hybrid+ also rates with a perfect 5-star safety rating in both the Euro NCAP and ANCAP. Its safety credentials are bolstered by MG Pilot, the brand’s intelligent suite of driver assistance technologies, which includes adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert and braking, and a clear 360-degree camera.
Complementing MG Pilot are driver and front passenger, side, and curtain airbags, along with an autobrake hold, anti-lock braking, electronic brakeforce distribution, cornering brake control, traction control, vehicle dynamics control, and active rollover protection.
The HS Hybrid+ also offers high levels of comfort and refinement. It features a dual 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and touchscreen infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has wireless charging, dual zone climate control with air purifier, and leather seating with six-way electric adjustment and memory for the driver. A panoramic sunroof, hands-free power tailgate, and reverse auto-tilting mirrors further enrich the driving experience.
Outside, the Digital Matrix LED lighting, roof rail with 75-kilogram capacity, and 19-inch black-painted alloy wheels give the HS Hybrid+ a striking presence on the road.
